Questions
How do I book a trip?
Call us for the fastest response, or submit the quote form on the Contact page with pickup, drop-off, appointment time, and mobility needs.
Do you offer same-day trips?
Same-day availability depends on open capacity. Call us and we will confirm what we can cover that day.
What trips are outside your scope?
No. Lakemont provides non-emergency wheelchair and ambulatory medical transportation only. We do not provide stretcher, EMS, or clinical care.

Questions
Do you lift patients from bed to wheelchair?
No. We assist within a no-lift policy. Passengers must be able to travel seated in a wheelchair with standard securement.
Can you take power wheelchairs?
Often yes, with advance details on dimensions and weight. Oversized or bariatric setups may require a different vehicle and rate.
Is this an Uber-style ride?
No. This is scheduled non-emergency medical transport with confirmation, documentation, and facility-aware communication.
Do you discount dialysis routes?
Only when trips pair cleanly on a recurring route. Low-density long deadhead is quoted at full private-pay rates or declined.
What if the patient cannot sit safely in a wheelchair?
No. Lakemont does not offer stretcher or ambulance service. If the patient cannot sit in a wheelchair, another licensed provider is required.
Do you accept every Medicaid broker trip?
Broker work is supplemental. We accept trips that fit route density and revenue-per-hour rules after credentialing.

Do you only serve ZIP codes inside Sugar Land city limits?
We prioritize Sugar Land and adjacent Fort Bend neighborhoods. Out-of-zone trips are quoted with deadhead considered.
Can you do same-day Missouri City pickups?
When the schedule allows. Same-day wheelchair capacity is limited and quoted with a same-day adder.
Are you based in Stafford?
Our launch strategy treats Stafford / Missouri City / Sugar Land as the preferred base edge. Final public GBP address policy is set at launch.
Do you take every Richmond-to-TMC request?
Only when the quote covers vehicle time and return risk. Low-rate long deadhead is declined.
Do you cover Rosenberg wheelchair pickups?
Yes, when capacity and route timing work. Western Fort Bend trips are quoted with drive time and return risk included.
Can you take Rosenberg patients to Sugar Land or the Texas Medical Center?
Yes for qualified non-emergency wheelchair or ambulatory trips. Long-distance rides are priced clearly before dispatch.
Is Katy a primary launch city?
It is an active service city. Primary density planning still centers Fort Bend first.
Do you cover Manvel or Rosharon?
Edge communities are quoted case by case based on deadhead and return certainty.

Questions
Do you publish fixed trip prices online?
Lakemont confirms pricing before dispatch and does not publish unapproved sample rates as production pricing. Distance, timing, mobility needs, stairs, wait time, and return planning all affect whether a trip can be scheduled safely and reliably.
Do you charge for waiting?
Open-ended wait time and late changes are discussed before the trip is accepted.
What happens if the passenger is not ready or cancels late?
No-show and late-cancel terms are confirmed with the quote.
